Welcome! A brief description of this blog.

This blog is intended for Mr Alan's DSB Science students and  may include, articles, images, links to other
websites, general comments and will be used by Mr Alan to post assignments, homework and other useful bits of information.
Posts are usually instantaneous and students are free to respond by leaving comments of their own.
Comments may also be posted in response to other students. See below for this blogs Acceptable Use Policy. At no point will Mr Alan tolerate any personal comments or inappropriate language of any sort on this blog. All posts are date/time stamped and archived and will be moderated by Mr Alan for appropriateness before they are posted to the blog.

  6. POOR POLAR BEARS!We have to do something about global warming.....Polar bears are cute..they shouldnt dissapear..Lets do something about it!:(

  8. I like this Jupiter site..I like learning about planets.it's fun...but how did those flames get there...it looks like radiaion....but it's storms...this is weird O_O

  18. And most of the planets are made up of gas so aliens would not be able to live. And they would need food and water... Which i dont think you find on every planet!! HAHAA If there are aliens i hope they are nice... That they dont invade the world or anything like that.... LL

  23. Hi mr Alan this is Hannah i hope the polar bears win but what happens if they do will their fur change brown or something??? and what happens if they dont win. but i dont either want the grizzlsa to die either?

  24. Thanks for all the comments this week everyone, especially about the poor polar bears! It seems like polar bears will have a hard time adapting to a warmer climate and because of their weaker skulls (due to their diet), may die out completely in their competition with grizzly bears. Mr Alan
