Some rather cryptic questions this week. Not for year 11!!
Have fun with this weeks questions. Five points up for grabs! There are only two more questions of the week left for this term's prize!!

4. Yes sugar plays a part in decay, even though a lot of other foods contain carbohydrates. This is because sugar is pure unlike the more natural sugars in pasta and bread.
Mr. A I do not understand what you mean by 'next' in question two.
I'll give you 2 points for the answers to questions 1 and 4 Felix, well done. I mentioned the questions were a little cryptic so where do you usually find NEXT on a website? Mr A
In the astronomy picture of the day, the largest canyon in the solar system is shown. It is called Valles Marineris, is 7000 km long, and around 600 km wide. It cuts across the surface of mars.
Felix; firstly it's not the Astronomy Pic of the Day I'm referring to. And no, NEXT is not Extra Dimensions, but you are on the right track. Good try. Mr A
3. The two different ways of defining mass are a) The reluctancy an object has to move depends on its mass - A heavier object can't be as easily forced to move as a lighter one. b)How strong an objects gravitational pull is - a heavier object, which has a bigger mass than a lighter one, has a stronger gravitational pull on it and will be forced to the Earths surface more easily
Danya, NO extra time in class to work on the Physics presentation. Your group must be ready to present your proposal to Power City at the start of the first lesson. I will toss a coin to decide which group goes first. Mr A
