2. What is this formula attempting
to calculate?
3. Why are scientists interested
in this?
4. Why would this be my favorite
equation?
5. What is the Goldilocks zone
and why is important in this equation?
Good luck!

ReplyDeleteMr ADW (!!!!)
5)goldilock zone is the habitable zone the region in a star-centered orbit where an Earth-like planet can maintain liquid water on its surface and Earth-like life.its important with this equation because its used to estimate the number of detectable extraterrestrial civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy.
ReplyDeletenoora
4) its ur favriote equation becaause of something to do with ur name? ADW?
ReplyDeletethat was me noora is ur middle name drake or something
ReplyDelete5)goldilocks is \the habitable zone (HZ) is the region in a star-centered orbit where an Earth-like planet can maintain liquid water on its surface and Earth-like life.and its important to the equation used to estimate the number of detectable extraterrestrial civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy.
ReplyDelete4) its ur favriote because is ur middle name drake
OK Noora, #5=1 point

ReplyDeleteIn order to find out if there is alien life on the galaxy we need to solve the equation and in order to do this scientists need to know factors in the equation. Some factors are known such as S. (The rate of of star formation in our galaxy). But there are some unknown factors.such as N. ( The number of planets that could potetially bear life around each star and that has planets). Once the all factors are known, it could provide us interesting infomation and the equation can be solved.
